Tyre Care Blueprint
Sri Lanka Edition
Why this routine? Designed specifically for high-humidity conditions and the stop-and-go traffic of Colombo, ensuring maximum tyre life and safety.
-
Check Cold PSI
Measure pressure in the morning before driving. Heat from Colombo traffic increases pressure readings falsely.
-
Tread Wear Bar Inspection
Look for the small rubber bars between treads. If they are flush with the tyre surface, replace immediately.
-
Wheel Balancing Check
Essential if you feel vibrations at 60-80 km/h. Potholes can knock weights off easily.
-
Rotation Log Update
Plan your next rotation (every 5,000 KM). Regular rotation prevents uneven wear on FWD vehicles.
-
Roadside Emergency Kit
Verify jack functionality, wheel brace (wrench), and warning triangle are present and not rusted.
-
Spare Tyre Inspection
Often forgotten! Check its pressure (usually 35-40 PSI) and ensure it holds air.
